Toonami Bumper

Toonami is an American late-night programming block that broadcasts Japanese anime and American action animation since its initial launch in 1997. It is revered for its introducing Japanese anime to Western audiences as well as its sleek, space-themed aesthetic and design.
Using stylistic elements from various bumpers as a point of reference, I made my own version of a Toonami bumper by creating several assets in Adobe Photoshop and crafting a final composite in Adobe After Effects.

Return of Islnd Mob

Islnd Mob is a rap/hip-hop collective group based in Florida, U.S. After a short hiatus, I was tasked with creating a rebrand pitch. Drawing inspiration from 1970s-80s Japanese pop culture such as the science fiction TV series Return of Ultraman, I initially created a title card for the lost 1970s tokusatsu (special effects) TV series Kaettekita Airando Mobu (Return of Islnd Mob).
Later, I created a complete title sequence using the initial title card as a guide for the look. The footage of moving bokeh lights was created in Blender. Title card, credits, and compositing was done using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects. Sound mixing and editing was done in Adobe Premiere Pro, using Time Check by Buddy Rich as the "official" theme song for Return of Islnd Mob.
